Comprehensive In-Home Counseling Services (CIHCS) is a charitable organization, which was formed in 2002 in an effort to increase the ability of minority, elderly, disabled and economically challenged individuals and their families to access community resources. We have the venue to meet the family's social, personal, and economic needs.

Comprehensive In-Home Counseling Services has developed a continuum of care which include:

1. A Website that will be the clearing house for South Texas Social Services. (in the development stages).
2. Comprehensive Case Management services (for the whole family)
3. In Home Counseling (offered after school and work hours, with a focus on promoting a consistent comprehensive risk avoidance message to families with a focus on strengths and abilities rather than weaknesses Solutions are derived by the client, so they create their own success, a solution that fits their lifestyle.)

The program we have developed will increase the ability of the family to receive services, such as Case Management and Individual and Family Counseling. All services rendered will be available in the client's home so childcare or transportation will not be barriers, which will result in the family not receiving services. With the ultimate goal of providing direct services to the South Texas community.

We have started by developing the networks with other community agencies that have the capacity to meet some of our clients needs. The identified population will finally have the ability to benefit from the much needed services which have been denied to them due to transportation barriers, childcare issues, work conflict etc..
